How To Get A Domain Name Redirect For Your Autoresponder Mailings

The "View Video Now" buttons will open up your default video player. Remember it will take several minutes to begin the presentation the first time because they are very large files. The files actually have to download to your computer before the video start.

If you select "Download Zip File" you will have to save the file to your computer and "unzip" it using a program like Winzip. You will need to know how to unzip a zip file to be able to see the video.

Tips and Tricks for Using Your Responder.

The Top 4 Tips you should be doing every month with your responder...

TIP 1) Check Message Tracking. (Tracking Only Works with HTML Sequential Messages)
You will want to make sure and check your Message Tracking link.

Your Message Tracking link is on the Right hand side of the page at the bottom of your Admin panel. Click on Message Tracking and then View Report. You will see your Subject lines and out to the side a Number of times read. Click on this number. You will now see everyone who opened up that email.

WHY: By doing this you are seeing who has already expressed interest by opening up your emails. A good thing to do is Call them and Thank them for doing so.

Sample Script: Hi name, this is your name, I just wanted to call and Thank You for opening up my email. I noticed that you did not take me up on my offer of the FREE test drive. (sometimes when people see a landing page they think that they are going to be sold to someone else. They do not realize that this is just to allow them access to the site)Assure them it is FREE to enroll and they are under NO obligation and can OPT out at anytime.

TIP 2) Send Out Manual Messages.
Always send out Manual Messages. (Broadcasts to your Group) VERY, VERY important.

I get asked alot of times. Why should I send out a Broadcasts if they are already getting system emails.
ANSWER: The letters they are getting from the Responder are Business Related. NOT personal. By sending out Broadcasts you are allowing your prospects to get to know you. Your Broadcasts do not have to be lengthy. Sometimes just introducing yourself is enough.
TIP: I send out letters about myself,(whether its cutting down a tree, putting up a fence, or something inspirational. ITS about me. Another thing that works really well is sending out Poems.)Be creative and have fun....

How To Send Manual Messages:

You will want to go to your reliablecontact.com and log in to your Admin area. Once you are logged in you will want to look at the column on the Right side of the page and click on the link that says Manually Send Message To Lists. On the next page you will see

1) Which group do you wish to Contact. You will want to click on the Arrow that says Single email and change it to Entire Lists.

2) You will want to leave the When do you want to send this? To NOW

3) Now just enter in your Subject Line:
It is always a good rule of thumb to use their name in the Subject line.

Note: To insert their name use this tag. ~~NAME~~ by using this all of your members first name will automatically be inserted.

4)You can now write them a message to get them to go to your site.

5) After you have written your letter scroll to the bottom of the page and click on the Contact Autoresponder Subscribers button.

6) Your letter will now be set to go out.

7) On the next page you will see a list of email addresses. The page will go from white
To peach. Once this happens your are done. You can now close the window.

TIP 3) Download Your Lists:
Make sure and Download your lists every month.

HOW To Download your Lists:

1.. Login to your responder back office (reliablecontact.com)
2.. Click the Export Email List Data (right side under import/export your
list)
3.. Click the 1) List of all Active/Archived emails in the system
4.. Check the box Check Here To Export as File:
5.. Click the Export List button at the bottom
6.. A download box pops up...click save and save to your computer. Rename
it to any filename you want as all exports from our system come out with the
name emails.txt
(TIP: I generally use the month as the filename)

TIP 4)A Guide to Help you put your Text Leads into Excel in Column Format in 5 Easy Steps

First put leads in Excel.

1)Make sure the A Column is hi-lighted.

2)Hit the DATA button at the Top of the Screen.

3)Now click on Text to Columns

4)Make sure DELIMITED is Checked then hit NEXT

5)Under DELIMETERS Check COMMA
then Click Next.

Now Hit FINISH

You now have All your info in columns.
